Career and Technical classrooms are now emulating business environments that enable students to gain authentic work experiences.


Students are immersed into job experiences that focus on: work ethics, safety, drug testing, professionalism, teamwork, leadership, and customer service.


Students are not only achieving academic success, but earning industry recognized credentials and skill sets.

BM1465 - Management & Administrative Support (BM1465) completer pathway has many options, depending on the elective courses chosen.  The required course is:

  • 1439 - Business & Marketing Essentials (Intro to Business) - learn to start & run a small business

Students will choose three classes below to become a business completer

  • 1401 - Accounting Principles 1 - Accounting basics: transactions, journalizing, posting, statement creation, payroll, depreciation 
  • 1411 - Microsoft Imagine Academy I - Word & PowerPoint (Certifications recommended)
  • 1413 - Microsoft Imagine Academy II - Excel & Access (Certifications recommended)
  • 1449 – Office Management – human resources, production, and leadership – SW duties in class & LCHS office
  • 1451 - Personal Finance - Banking, Spending, Investing, Insurance, Taxes  
  • 1512 - Workplace Practicum - advance workplace skills & placement - SW with unpaid internship in the field (Prerequisite:  Must have completed 2 business courses)
