The Lewis County Board of Education met on August 9th, 2021 to consider how masks will be used for the 2021-2022 school year. After much deliberation, a motion was put forward and approved. The motion is as follows; Lewis County Schools will not require masks for the 2021-2022 school year. However, the Lewis County Board of Education encourages all those who wish to wear a mask to do so and also encourages all who are able and willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination to do so as well. Please note, as this situation develops the Lewis County Board of Education has the option to revisit this decision.
