Dear PCES Families,
As we prepare for the upcoming Splash Bash and other outdoor activities over the next couple of weeks, we want to remind you of our policy regarding sunscreen use. Students will only be allowed to apply sunscreen if they have parent permission and have brought their own sunscreen to school. Due to allergy concerns and legal liability, PCES staff cannot supply or apply sunscreen for any student under any circumstances. Thank you for helping us keep all students safe and comfortable during our end-of-year events!

Please remember that the bus loop and gravel parking lot are not to be used for student pickup or drop-off at any time. These areas are reserved for bus traffic and staff/visitor use only.
To ensure everyone's safety and keep things running smoothly, all student drop-off and pickup must take place in the designated traffic flow loop that goes around the side of the school.

Due to today’s 2-hour delay, the WVGSA ELA testing originally scheduled for today has been rescheduled for tomorrow, April 30. Additionally, the WVGSA Writing assessment will now take place on Friday, May 2. Please ensure your child is well-rested and arrives to school on time on testing days. The BU Zoo is coming to PCES!
Grades 2, 3, 4, and 5 will visit on Thursday, April 17, and grades PK, K, and 1 will visit on Wednesday, April 23.
Permission slips for grades 2–5 should be returned to the classroom teacher by tomorrow, April 15, along with payment if required.
PK–1 permission slips are due by the end of this week.
