April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month


LCHS: Bunny cakes are being made by the second year Baking and Pastry 1 students. The cakes are two layers filled and covered with vanilla buttercream and a ganache drip. There are a few more left to sell, keep an eye on the Lewis County High School Facebook page for more information!

All schools will be closed tomorrow, January 19th. No staff are to report, regardless of contract. Central office will be closed.

We would like to inform you of a schedule change for Friday, January 19th. This day was originally a normal school day but will now be a Professional Learning Day for staff safety training. Students will not attend school on this day. As a reminder, there will be no school for students on January 12th, this is an OSE day and January 15th for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

All Lewis County Schools are conducting School Environment Surveys that will obtain information from students, staff, and families about conditions for learning in our schools. The surveys will be begin the week of October 16th. Keep your eye out for more information from your child’s school. Your participation is greatly appreciated.

Your students, in grades 3-8 and 11 last year, will be bringing home their 2022-2023 WVDE Assessment results today, September 15th!
In addition to the printed score reports, students will also receive a link to a video score report in their student email addresses.
