At 2:15 today, we were forced to close the 8th grade boys bathroom due to damage done by the 7th/8th grade boys. There are urinals that are broken and cannot flush. Someone chose to rip off the trash bag and use the urinal. Hopefully the bathroom will be up and operational by morning.

Bus 2-16 will not run tomorrow. Please remember if you bring your child to school, you will also need to pick them up. If you are unable to transport, the day will not be counted against your child. Just send a note when they return.

Mr. Gerald Paugh, who has worked for Lewis County Schools for 26 years, is the new Transportation Supervisor. He has enjoyed watching the children grow and being a small part of their lives. Mr. Paugh hopes that in some way he has made a positive influence that may have encouraged the students to dream and succeed in life As supervisor, his goal is to finish his career trying to leave the transportation department in a better place by building relationships between the wonderful bus operators and administrators by trying to set a good example that will hopefully inspire all bus drivers to share the same compassion for the children as he has.

Today we kicked off our annual fundraiser while safely sitting arm lengths apart. Students did an amazing job and are pretty excited about the prizes. We are back in the cookie dough selling business. There is also an online catalog component that people can use to purchase/pay online and have it shipped directly to their door.
