Lewis County Schools will work with our community partners to provide nurturing environments that encourage high achievement and lifelong learning for all students. Recruitment of the most highly qualified personnel and strong instructional leadership is required to develop learning environments to assure that all students attain College and Career Readiness

Core Beliefs

Lewis County's core belief is that all students, in all subgroups, will achieve success in an environment in which they feel safe, comfortable, and valued and are given a specific plan with the necessary support and timelines to be successful. Lewis County will work to follow the WVDE's goal of student achievement through improving teaching and learning for all. 

Lewis County believes parents, students, staff, and the community work together to provide learning experiences that assure that all students attain college and career readiness skills. 

Lewis County believes that high expectations yield high results.
