Cafeteria Expectations
Once dismissed from your classroom, students will report to hallway in front of cafeteria doors and line up two by two, awaiting approval to enter by staff. (Grade level teacher will monitor the line and direct students to hot lunch lines.)
Students may choose seating in correct location with no more than eight per table. (6th grade old section, 7th grade new section, 8th grade new section)
Students must raise their hand to be given permission to get out of their seat. (Restroom, medication, forgotten food items, etc.)
Ten minutes after the last student is seated in the grade level, students will no longer be allowed to get forgotten items from the food line. (Exceptions – napkins for spills)
Only one boy and one girl from each grade level will be permitted to use the restroom at a time.
When finished eating, students may dump their trays into designated trash cans and return any trays to the cart beside the cans before returning to their seat and awaiting dismissal. (Each cafeteria Zone will have a trash can and a cart.) TEACHER WILL MODEL APPROPRIATE METHOD FOR DUMPING AND STACKING TRAYS.
When the bell rings, a teacher will assist with dismissal by releasing students by Zones while checking for messes and trash. Any student who has not dumped his/her tray will do so at dismissal.

Good morning,
I have been told that there has been some concern among parents about a 15 punch bathroom rule that is in use at the middle school. This rule is in place with the 7th grade team. Teachers in the 7th grade posted the following message in their classes on Schoology to explain the rule. I figured I would post the explanation here to alleviate any further confusion. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to call the school or contact a 7th grade teacher through Schoology.
Expectations regarding bathroom breaks:
They are given a pass with ten punches per quarter. They are allowed to go during homeroom, advisory, lunch, afternoon homeroom and most vocational classes without getting the card punched. This is to prevent frequent flyers from missing too much of their core classes for bathroom breaks. Parents can rest assured that no teacher will prevent a student with a bathroom emergency/urgency from going to the bathroom.
