Good afternoon Lewis County Families. As we see the snow flying today, we wanted to update you on our call out procedures. Bus cancellations will originate from the bus garage and only go to those families affected and not to all families in the county. If you need this information updated for a specific bus, please contact your child's school to ensure the correct information is in our system. This is our first test message to the whole county, and we wanted to ensure everyone had updated information and access. If your phone number or email has changed since the beginning of school paperwork, please reach out to your child's school to update the information.

Good evening. Bus 13 will be running 10 minutes early tomorrow morning. September 23, 2025.

Lewis County Schools has exhausted all allowable weather days for the year. At this point, we must make a decision around when days would be made up, assuming we would have to miss a day of instruction. As we have surveyed the various options, we want to inform you that any missed school days will be made up at the end of the current school calendar. This adjustment ensures that we meet the required instructional days for the academic year.
Please plan accordingly, and we appreciate your cooperation and understanding. Thank you for your continued support.
Best regards,
Dr. Melinda J. Stewart
