April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month
JLES: Students are learning about geometry concepts and classifying shapes. Then, they took the information about quadrilateral, trapezoids, parallelograms, kites, rhombus, etc and built houses using those shapes and identified them in Minecraft.
LCHS: Bunny cakes are being made by the second year Baking and Pastry 1 students. The cakes are two layers filled and covered with vanilla buttercream and a ganache drip. There are a few more left to sell, keep an eye on the Lewis County High School Facebook page for more information!

LCHS: Medical Terminology/Anatomy/Forensics classes had the opportunity to visit the Human Anatomy Lab at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine on Thursday, March 14. It was an amazing experience for our students!

Due to a structure fire on West Second St. this morning, buses will not be picking up students between Pricetown fire department and main street in Weston this morning. You may bring your students to school if you are able to when the road is reopened. Buses will be on schedule this afternoon to bring students home.

We would like to inform you of a schedule change for Friday, January 19th. This day was originally a normal school day but will now be a Professional Learning Day for staff safety training. Students will not attend school on this day. As a reminder, there will be no school for students on January 12th, this is an OSE day and January 15th for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
